10 Tips: How to Plan a Party by yourself
You don't necessarily need to have special education or be a professional host to organize a fun party with lots of positive emotions. However, careful preparation for the celebration, whether it's a Birthday, New Year, Children's party, or corporate event, is absolutely essential. It's important to plan everything in advance, from the event's script to the decorations.

- 1. Number of guests. Think about who you want to invite to your celebration. Will the guests come alone or with children/parents, significant others?
- 2. Determine the budget. 90% of the money will go towards holiday table and drinks, the remaining finances - on invitations, decor, small prizes for contests
- 3. Choose a venue for the celebration. It can be your favorite cafe, a restaurant outside the city, or a party outdoors or at home.
- 4. Set the party theme. Will it be a themed party? Or just cozy get-together with friends? Or a corporate meeting with colleagues?
- 5. Create invitations. They can be electronic invitations designed in Photoshop or fun homemade invites. You can also buy invitations at a store in the card section
- 6. Decorate the venue. Base the decor on the party theme. At a minimum, use balloons, decor for the holiday table, and perhaps hats and noise makers
- 7. Plan the menu. Make a list of dishes and a detailed list of ingredients. Drinks and alcohol, as well as non-perishable items, can be purchased in advance. Don't hesitate to survey guests about their beverage preferences. If you're hosting at a cafe or restaurant, work with the manager to determine the menu and meal timing
- 8. Create a group chat in a messenger to discuss party details, take a survey on dishes and alcohol, and exchange photos after the celebration
- 9. Develop an entertainment program. Choose interesting tabletop, musical, and active contests and alternate them. Don't forget to include appropriate breaks and maintain a dynamic pace
- 10. Party playlist. If there will be a diverse audience, try to cater to everyone - mix modern hits with classics from past years. For a close group of friends, you can choose hits from your mutual favorite artists
You will definitely succeed! Don't forget to thank your guests for a pleasant evening in the group chat. And get ready to receive lots of gratitude in return)
