Non-Alcoholic Drinks for a Party
Kombucha
Kombucha is a natural fermented beverage made from a tea fungus. Thanks to the fermentation of sugar, tea infusion, and various aromatic food additives, it becomes a tasty fizzy drink.
Kombucha has a taste that somewhat resembles champagne or apple cider. And the most important thing is that it's also a beneficial beverage. Kombucha contains vitamins from the B and C groups and has an excellent biochemical composition that aids digestion and normalizes blood sugar levels.

The presence of various additives makes the assortment of kombucha extremely wide, catering to different tastes and preferences. Keep in mind that in the infusion of the tea fungus, there may be a small percentage of alcohol up to 2.5%.
NON-ALCOHOLIC WINE AND CHAMPAGNE FROM THE superMARKET
Another alternative for non-drinking party guests.
Non-alcoholic wine is wine with an extremely low alcohol content, ranging from 0.5% to 3.5%. This beverage is produced by removing alcohol from regular wine. This process can involve methods such as evaporation, centrifugation, or low-temperature vacuum distillation. The last method allows for the preservation of a maximum amount of tannins, anthocyanins, microelements, and wine aromatics.
Nowadays, you can find non-alcoholic wines and champagnes in almost every market. However, not all products have a good composition and taste. Unfortunately, the majority of non-alcoholic wines taste and feel like regular juice, but they are often priced higher.
Non-alcoholic mulled wine or grog
In the classic mulled wine recipe, the base is red dry wine. However, we recommend replacing the wine with cherry juice. The other ingredients remain the same:
- Cherry juice (alternatively, you can use blackcurrant juice, which also has a tart flavor)
- Mulled wine spices, which are available as a ready-made mix in stores, or you can buy them separately (cloves, cinnamon, ground ginger, cardamom)
- Orange slices
- Apple cubes (optional)

Recipe: To make non-alcoholic mulled wine, heat the juice in a saucepan on the stove until the first bubbles appear, but do not let it boil. Add the spices and sliced fruits, wait for the second boil, turn off the heat, and cover the saucepan with a lid. Let the drink steep for 15 minutes and then pour it into mugs. This is a wonderful warming beverage, especially enjoyable during the cold winter.
From the category of warming drinks, you can also try non-alcoholic grog, which includes: strong black tea, water, honey (or sugar), frozen raspberries, apple, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg.
Non-alcoholic cocktails
For such a beverage, you'll also need to put in a little effort, just like with glintwine, but the result will be delicious, visually appealing, and healthy. You can find hundreds of recipes for non-alcoholic cocktails on the internet, but we've prepared simple and tried-and-true recipes for you that are sure to please both you and your guests:
- Lemon-Ginger Cocktail: Mineral water + sliced ginger root + lemon + honey (or sugar)
- Non-Alcoholic Mojito: Fresh mint leaves + lime + Sprite + ice + cane sugar
- Basil Cocktail: Purple basil + honey (or sugar) + hot water (not boiling). Let it cool, add lemon juice and ice
- Apple Punch: 500g strawberries + 1 lemon + 1L apple juice + 3-4 tbsp sugar + 1L cold mineral water.
A FEW FINAL TIPS:
-
If you've taken the first step towards a healthier lifestyle and decided to give up alcohol, try to choose healthy alternatives. For example, children's champagne, which might seem harmless, often has a terrible chemical composition. If you're opting for non-alcoholic wine, make sure to read the label and look for information about how the alcohol was removed from the wine.
-
Don't hesitate to present your non-alcoholic beverages beautifully – use elegant glasses, cocktail umbrellas, maraschino cherries, sprigs of mint, and more.
-
Remember that we create the festive atmosphere and mood ourselves, and alcohol is not necessary for that. On the other hand, your body will thank you in the morning for making a sensible choice!
